Chapter Seven

Autumn

Grayson’s hand is tight around mine as he pulls me into the cabin, and my heart feels like it’s going to burst out of my chest.

The air between us is electric, charged with an intensity I’ve never felt before. His grip is strong, almost possessive, and every step he takes sends a ripple of excitement through me.

I can’t believe how fast this is happening.

One moment, I’m starting a new job, and now I’m about to give myself completely to the man who’s been haunting my every thought since I met him. My boss. The one I’m falling for, hard and fast.

My pulse quickens with every second as we race towards the door of his cabin, my skin tingling under his touch.

Grayson had me pinned against the truck, making me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt before. He brings it out in me, an excitement and pure need that I’ve never had with anyone before.

He doesn’t waste a second now we’re back at his cabin either.

He scoops me up effortlessly and carrying me toward his bedroom like I weigh nothing. His strength is overwhelming, his body hard and solid against me. I rest my hand on his chest, feeling the powerful muscles beneath his shirt, the steady thrum of his heartbeat under my palm.

God, he’s strong. The kind of strong that makes me feel safe, cherished.

He kicks open the bedroom door, and everything about this moment feels animal-like. Raw and primal. I’m so fucking wet, it’s crazy.

The air in the cabin is thick with the scent of pine and leather, and the memories of our earlier moments in this very room flash through my mind. But now, it’s different. This time, it’s real. This time, I’m giving him everything.

He lowers me onto the bed, his body hovering over mine as he tears his shirt off in one quick motion, revealing the hard planes of his chest. My breath catches as I see the scars, faint lines that dig into his muscles. They only make him look more rugged, more dangerous.

“Grayson…” I whisper, my voice trembling.

His eyes are dark with need, and just looking up at him, that glare of pure hunger and greed tell me everything I need to know.

“You’re mine, Autumn,” he growls, his voice deep and rough as his hands move over me.

There’s no hesitation, no doubt.

He’s claiming me. And I want it more than anything.

I settle on the bed, my back on the mattress as my hair fans out beneath me. Grayson’s fingers hook into the waistband of my pants, yanking them down with an urgency that sends a thrill racing through me.

He kneels between my legs, his gaze locked on me as he inhales deeply, his eyes half-lidded with lust.

“God, you smell so good.”

His voice is thick with desire, but before he can lower his head, something changes. His eyes flash with raw hunger, and he shifts.

“I could eat this pussy all night, but right now, I need to fuck you.”

The words hit me like a shockwave.
